'Distinctive rifle' stolen from car in Chesterfield

Police have released pictures of a rifle and other items stolen from a car in Chesterfield.

The ‘distinctive’ rifle was stolen sometime between 11pm on Sunday, March 1 and 1pm the next day, say Derbyshire Police.

It was taken from a Peugeot 107, which was parked in Brimington Road in Tapton.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call PC Justine Parsons, the officer on the case, on 101.
