Police say a ‘significant’ number of street signs have been stolen in Derbyshire.
Signs have been taken from roads in the Chester Green area of Derby, including Milford Street, Kirk Street, Chester Green Road, Otter Street and Camp Street.
A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “The thefts have happened over the last few days.

“In some cases, the signs have been removed from the sides of houses.
“Witnesses have reported seeing two men taking the signs.
“Sometimes one or both of them are on bicycles.”
