A number of cars have collided on a major route through a Derbyshire town today.

Shortly after 10.00am this morning, a crash took place along Market Street in Clay Cross.

Photos from the scene appear to show at least three cars involved in the collision – including a van and a Mini Cooper.

A police car was also spotted at the scene – and Derbyshire Police have been contacted for further details.
